Day 79 - A Message From Happy Land

A conversation with an American oncologist. Amazingly parroting the Trump line. It will be over soon. Priority is to get back to work. 60,000 deaths, not a problem, people die all the time. He shows absolute contempt of politicians, but seems to have completely swallowed the Republican dogma about the Corvid crisis. He feels himself to be immune from influence because he is presumably a medical expert. We start by sharing our means of coping with the strange new reality. To me, his strategy seems to be getting lost in Trump's happy land. Li Wenliang (Chinese: 李文亮; pinyin: Lǐ Wénliàng; 12 October 1986 – 7 February 2020) was a Chinese ophthalmologist who worked as a physician at Wuhan Central Hospital. According to a formerly relevant calendar, Li died on February 7, 2020. The previous calendar dated from th

Sometimes it's best to understand the hopeless mess in your head by looking around the hopeless mess of your house.  If your home is a jumble of randomly-stored crap you can't bring yourself to throw away, perhaps your mind is no different. You can sort things out in either world by simply going through the mess and putting things where they belong. It can be exhausting in real life, but hey we have a lot of time these days! Do you have junk that has not seen the light of day in 30 years? Is somebody else in charge of organizing your home so you can never find a damn thing? Think about it.
